Welcome!
I am a chief fellow in the child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship program at the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. In 2019, I completed the general adult psychiatry residency program with specialization in perinatal mental health at the same institution. I graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine with a Medical Doctorate in 2016, and from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics in 2012.
My research has focused on psychiatric illness during pregnancy and the postpartum period. I have also done research in racial health disparities, HIV interventions, data mining, and applied mathematics. As a writer, I've worked with the ABC News Medical Unit and contributed to a cultural competency guide on gender identity, a book chapter in Psychiatry of Pandemics: A Mental Health Response to Infection Outbreak, and a book chapter about functional MRI biomarkers of peripartum psychiatric disorders. I'm always looking for exciting ideas and problems. If you have one, feel free to contact me. |
