I am a resident doctor at Northwell Health (formerly North Shore - Long Island Jewish Health System) training in psychiatry.
I graduated from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2016 with a Medical Doctorate and from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics in 2012.*
Currently, I am doing research on schizophrenia as well as psychiatric illnesses during pregnancy and in the postpartum period. In the past, I've done research in racial disparities in prostate cancer, data mining with time use databases, cognitive and experimental economics, community-based housing, HIV interventions, mathematical telecommunications, and much more. I also write. I'm always looking for exciting ideas and problems. If you have one, feel free to contact me.
When I'm not geeking out about medicine or statistics or writing, I love learning about social justice topics like disability rights, reading cool books (especially alternative comics), and exploring different cultures through travel.
